Have you read AI 2027? If you have a clock of time, then this is a very interesting story about how AGI (general artificial intelligence) will destroy us as humanity. At the same time, it's science fiction. OpenAI and some other American labs are betting on it. At the same time, it may never come to light.
At House of Cutter, we actually don't care about AGI at all. It is possible that there will be major scientific breakthroughs that will cause it to exist. It is possible that AGI will somehow arise on its own from the depths of the Internet. Perhaps none of this will happen.
It doesn't matter.
Generative AI as a field has Significant impacts on our work today. We don't need AGI for that.
My recommendation for 2026 is as follows:
Stop addressing utopian/dystopian visions that include general AI. You won't affect her arrival anyway.
Start using AI in small everyday tasks. The gradual cumulative effect is actually huge and will give you limited in time, and At the same time, a real advantage versus the competition.
The real benefit comes from being able to handle more.
Example: A colleague recently started planning our workouts via Claude+MCP linked to Google Calendar. A job that took days now takes an hour.
We all have inertia. We're driving in rutted tracks. We're making excuses for why AI can't work. And if it can't, it really can't. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The biggest blocker is that People can't use AI.. They enter nonsense into the tools. In the future, it will be one = AI will cope. Today and in the years to come, it does not matter.
AI is not ChatGPT. It's a major. It involves machine work with data. Prompt engineering. Vibe coding. Automation platforms.
