Website Audit
You're paying tens of thousands a month for advertising, but still getting very few inquiries.
We'll find the areas where your website is losing customers and tell you what to fix first.

What's holding your website back?
Your company has grown, but your website still communicates what you were 3 years ago.
A competitor launched a new website and suddenly looks more professional than you do.
Your sales team hears from clients, "I looked at your website..." — and you know it's not a compliment.
Or you've stepped into a new role and need results this year, not in two years.
You've tried ad-hoc adjustments: new text here, a different photo there, a button moved up a bit. You considered a redesign, but six months of work doesn't make sense right now. You've poured money into advertising. And inquiries are still coming in at the same rate.
Ad-hoc adjustments address symptoms, not the root cause.
And meanwhile, every month you're paying for traffic that leaves without inquiring.

What your website isn't saying
The real problems with your website aren't visible to the naked eye. Your website doesn't answer the questions your customers are asking — so they leave, even if you offer exactly what they're looking for.
It doesn't build trust at the moment a visitor is making a decision. It doesn't lead to action, so people nod their heads and leave. And when people ask an AI search engine, your brand is missing from the answer.
It's not about graphics. It's about the psychology of your customers' decision-making.
When you close these gaps, your website will start profiting from the traffic you're already paying for today.
How we do it at House of Řezáč
We've been auditing websites for over 20 years. We replace common sense with an understanding of human behavior — Jan Řezáč wrote a book about it A razor-sharp website and we have a certificate in ethical influence from the Cialdini Institute. We'll review your website using over 500 checkpoints. No guesswork.

What we look at:
→ Findability
How search engines and AI find you. We'll check rankings, meta tags, indexing, Schema.org, and quotability for AI search engines.
→ Usability
So nothing hinders visitors on their path to inquiry. We'll check navigation, interactions, the conversion path, and mobile UX.
→ Design
So the design sells, not just looks good. We'll assess visual hierarchy, consistency, layout, and readability.
→ Content
So the texts answer the questions customers ask. We'll assess the informational value and the connection between content and products.
→ Accessibility
So the website works for everyone. We'll check compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA, touch targets, forms, and screen readers.

What you'll receive
A final report
Six parts: executive summary, target audiences and scenarios, what the website does well, identified issues, proposed solutions, prioritization of changes.
Specific recommendations for changes
For simpler issues, you'll receive ready-made solutions directly—new text, a different layout, correct element placement. Not just 'we recommend improving UX'.
Prioritization of changes
A list prioritized by its impact on your inquiries. You'll know what to do first, what can wait, and what requires deeper analysis.
Presentation for management
It will be clear not only what to change, but why. You'll be able to justify the changes internally without additional effort.
Here's an example of a finding from a real audit: for an e-shop's best-selling product, we recorded 127 frustrated clicks. The cause: variant selection involves two steps, and the chat bubble on mobile overlaps the package size option. The fix: a single-step selection and a repositioned bubble. Invisible to the naked eye, yet clear in the data.
Practical information:
- Price: starting from 49,000 CZK (excl. VAT).
- Delivery time: results within 3 weeks.
- Kick-off: a one-hour introductory call where we'll delve deep into your business.
- What we need from you: an hour for an initial call; for higher-tier options, access to Google Analytics 4 and Clarity, or your customer data
How the audit works
- Initial call (1 hour) We'll thoroughly discuss your business, goals, and current website issues.
- Analysis (2–3 weeks) We'll review the website against our checklist. Based on the selected option, we'll analyze visitor behavior data and your customer data. We'll compare you with your competitors.
- Presentation of results (60–90 min) We don't just send a PDF and leave you to it. We'll go through the results together, answer your questions, and help you set priorities.
- Implementation support Do you need help implementing the changes? We'll oversee it, or we'll do it for you. Tailored to your specific project, not included in the audit price.
What changes after the audit
You'll know what to fix first.
Instead of guesswork, you get a prioritized list based on impact. Your team's energy goes into changes that generate leads.
The same traffic generates more leads.
Your ad budget stays the same, but results grow. Your website will no longer be a place where investments disappear.
You'll be able to justify the changes to management.
For every change, you'll receive an argument explaining its importance. You'll secure the budget for modifications without weeks of persuasion.
AI search engines see you too.
People today ask AI, not just Google. You'll find out what to do to make it recommend you.

What you might be thinking now
"It'll just end up as a thick document in a drawer."
That's why the output is a prioritized list and a joint presentation, not a farewell PDF. You'll leave knowing what to do next week.
"We don't have the people to implement the changes."
Simpler changes will be delivered ready — you just need to deploy them. We'll oversee the larger ones, or we'll do them for you.
"Won't these just be generic tips like 'improve UX'?"
No, they won't. Every problem comes with a specific solution proposal and a justification for its importance.
"We recently redesigned our website."
If you redesigned your website with the help of AI, it's highly probable that it contains errors undetectable by the naked eye. That makes an audit even more interesting.
"Wouldn't it be better to just get a new website?"
That's exactly what the audit will determine. Often, targeted adjustments at a fraction of the redesign cost are enough — and if the website truly needs a revamp, you'll leave with a well-substantiated brief.
„Will an audit boost our traffic?"
No. An audit will improve the yield of your existing traffic. If almost no one visits your website, focus on acquisition first — and we'll tell you that upfront on our initial call.
„Our focus is more on AI in marketing than on the website."
Then you're looking for an [AI Readiness Audit](/resime/audit-ai-pripravenosti) — that maps your team's processes and competencies. This is about your website's performance.
What it looks like in practice
The audit is led by Jan Řezáč, author of the books Web ostrý jako břitva (2014) and ŘEŽ (2026), with the House of Řezáč team.
We conduct a maximum of 3 audits per month — book your slot in advance.
Case study

House of Řezáč approach is completely different than that of other web agencies. Workshops and user research forced us to think systematically about our business, and collaboration had more impact than just creating a website. It also helped us that other contractors on the project were assigned for us.
